Marywilska Shopping Centre in Warsaw is already operational thanks to modular containers
In response to the ongoing crisis, the company’s management decided to rebuild the shopping halls, which have a total area of over 63,000 m². As it is estimated that the complete reconstruction of the shopping centre will take at least a year and a half, an alternative solution was necessary to allow traders to resume their work as soon as possible. Therefore, it was decided to create a shopping village composed of reliable container modules prepared by Modular System.
700 retail containers in just a few weeks
We realised that only a quick response could help organise and launch the temporary shopping village on schedule. Therefore, in just a few weeks (by the end of July), Marywilska 44 received exactly 702 containers from us, which were crucial in supporting the local community and maintaining commercial activities.
Thanks to our ready-to-use modular solutions, tenants were able to return to work quickly, which was vital for both them and the local economy. The delivered solutions allowed for virtually uninterrupted operation and retention of tenants until the full reconstruction of the Marywilska 44 Shopping Centre.
Trading in container units — allocation and issue date
Thanks to the swift response, the process of allocating retail containers began as early as 27 May. Tenants could visit the temporary company offices – which were located in office containers at the back of the social building – to sign lease agreements for premises of 15 or 30 square metres.
Assistance with returning to business activity
The temporary shopping village made up of Modular System containers helped businesses resume their operations fairly quickly in the midst of the crisis. Thanks to our invaluable modular technology, we were able to help thousands of people return to work, providing safe and comfortable conditions.
